Ladbrokes News Acca: Huddersfield, Wolves, and Bristol City lead 22/1 five-fold

Published:

The Ladbrokes News crew are back for another weekend of expert-picking from the 3pm kick-offs in England.

This five-fold includes games from the Championship, FA Cup, and the National League.

Here’s who we’re going for this weekend…

Cian Carroll

Huddersfield Town to beat Birmingham City

David Wagner’s Huddersfield side host struggling Birmingham in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Blues boss Steve Cotterill will be forgiven for not worrying too much about exiting the cup at this stage.

Birmingham have bigger worries as they strive to get out of the Championship’s relegation zone.

Wagner will likely rotate Huddersfield’s XI but his side will still play their signature pressing game and should be too good for City here at 8/11.

Nick Murphy

Bristol City to beat Queens Park Rangers

Bristol City look set to return to winning ways in the Championship this weekend.

The Robins no longer have any cup distractions and should dispose of a QPR side that have won just twice in their last 21 Championship away matches.

Back the hosts to get the job done at 17/20.

Dan Anwar

Wigan Athletic to beat West Ham United

Wigan have already claimed one Premier League scalp in this year’s FA Cup. They’re 7/5 to get another at home to West Ham.

The League One leaders are unbeaten in 14 games and set to face a weakened West Ham side. The Hammers have plenty of injuries and are likely to prioritise Tuesday’s league clash against Crystal Palace over a potential cup run.

Dave Burin

Macclesfield Town to beat Torquay

Top face bottom in the National League, and it’s league leaders Macclesfield who have home advantage.

The Silkmen have taken 11 points from their last five fixtures at home. As for the Gulls, they’re winless in nine games and lost 4-0 at home to Bromley last weekend.

Add in the fact that Macc bagged a 1-0 victory at Plainmoor in the last meeting, and victory for the Silkmen looks good value at 4/6.

Miguel Assuncao

Wolverhampton Wanderers to beat Ipswich Town

Wolves have been the outstanding team in the Championship this season, but they’ve failed to win in their last two outings.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men haven’t lost away in the league since late October and should get back to winning ways against an inconsistent Ipswich side at Portman Road.

You can back the Wanderers at 4/6.

So there you have it. This weekend’s five-fold is available at 22/1!
