Arsene Wenger looks set for a major clearout at Arsenal. Five of the current Gunners squad are 10/3 or shorter to continue the club’s January exodus – which has already seen Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin exit.

Striker Chuba Akpom is the most likely to say his goodbyes before the month ends, at odds of 4/5.

Shortly behind is striker Olivier Giroud. Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are favourites to sign the Frenchman, who is Evens to depart in this window.

And the club’s exodus of forwards could also include Danny Welbeck. The former Manchester United prodigy has struggled for game-time and goals this term, and is without a Premier League goal since early September. He’s 5/2 to leave this month.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Elneny (3/1) and Mathieu Debuchy (10/3) are also potential movers – with just four Premier League starts between them this term.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Arsene’s clear-out looks set to continue over the next few weeks with plenty of names set for January exits, but the latest odds suggest a striker shortage could be the Frenchman’s next problem.”

Arsenal’s next league game is a visit to Swansea City in a week’s time, with the Gunners 1/2 for victory. But the odds suggest Arsene Wenger’s squad could look rather different by then.
