FA Cup fourth round draw: Man United and Spurs in pick of the fixtures

Premier League odds

With Manchester City running away at the top of the Premier League, the FA Cup could become very important to the clubs immediately below them this season.

It’s a chance to win some silverware and have something to show at the end of the season. But as Arsenal showed against Nottingham Forest, even the biggest clubs can fall against lower-league opposition.

Here are the fourth-round fixtures we’re most excited about:

Yeovil Town v Manchester United

Yeovil are 21st in League Two and the lowest ranked side still in this year’s competition. This is only the fourth time in Yeovil’s history that they’ve made it past the third round. And they’ve been rewarded with a huge home tie against Manchester United, who are 4/1 second-favourites to lift the trophy at Wembley.

United last travelled to Huish Park as recently as 2015. But that won’t stop the Glovers fans from looking forward to this one.

Newport County v Tottenham Hotspur

Newport caused one of the upsets of the competition so far when they knocked Leeds United out on Sunday.

Now they’ve been rewarded with a home tie against Tottenham Hotspur. Can they slay an even bigger giant this time? It’s going to be a fascinating game at Rodney Parade.

Huddersfield Town v Birmingham City

Birmingham might be battling relegation in the Championship but the Cup could offer them some respite. They travel to Huddersfield, who may rest a few of their regular starters to prioritise Premier League action.

This may not be the most glamorous tie, but there’s a real chance of an upset.
