FA Cup Best Bets: Swansea and Chelsea host Champ opposition

Wednesday sees a trio of FA Cup replays, with Premier League sides facing lower-tier opposition in each of them.

Here are our best bets on the action, kicking off with Norwich City’s visit to Stamford Bridge…

Chelsea v Norwich

The Blues’ recent games have seen a dearth of goals – with three successive 0-0 draws ahead of this clash. With just one of Norwich’s last five games producing more than two goals, Under 2.5 Goals represents value at 13/10.

Only one of Chelsea’s last six matches has produced a first-half goal. With the Canaries far from prolific lately, we like the 11/5 for this to be 0-0 at Half-Time.

With the hosts likely to edge it in 90 minutes, we fancy Half-Time/Full-Time: Draw/Chelsea at 14/5. Meanwhile, defender Marcos Alonso’s record of bagging a goal in three of the last seven games makes him backable at 9/4 to Score Anytime.

Swansea City v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have been superb on their travels. Unbeaten in seven away games, they’ve managed clean sheets in five of those.

With both teams netting in just one of the Swans’ last seven, we’re tipping a tight game. Both Teams to Score – No is a 4/5 shot.

The visitors have won five of seven on the road. And with the Swans battling for Prem survival, they’re likely to rest players here. Wolves to Win looks good at 21/10, while a Wolves Victory to Nil is a lively longshot at 19/5.

Diego Jota has scored in four of the Black Country club’s last 10 games – closing the scoring in two. He’s 9/5 to Net Anytime, while Jota to be Last Goalscorer is a 9/2 shot.

Wigan Athletic v AFC Bournemouth

While the night’s other games will likely be low on goals, this one should be the exact opposite.

The Cherries’ last five games have all seen both sides find the net, while the Latics have banged in 20 goals in 10 games. Both Teams to Score at 4/6 looks safe, while Over 3.5 Goals could be a smart call at 2/1.

Wigan’s Will Grigg has been, well, on fire. Eight goals in 11 games ahead of this clash make the Northern Ireland ace good value to Score Anytime at 8/5.

Finally, with four of the South Coast club’s prior five games seeing both sides bag a goal after the interval, BTTS in Second Half could prove popular at 15/8.
