FA Cup best bets: Leicester and Sheff Weds in replay action

There’s plenty of midweek football to enjoy with a number of FA Cup replays taking place.
Two Premier League sides are in action on Tuesday, and we could see an upset or two along the way.
Here are Ladbrokes News’ best bets…
Leicester City v Fleetwood Town
League One Fleetwood more than held their own in the initial encounter with Premier League Leicester.
A winnable trip to Peterborough United awaits in round four, and neither side have too much to play for in their respective divisions.
So that lends itself to both Uwe Rosler and Claude Puel fielding strong sides. The Foxes should edge this though, and they’re 20/23 on the Half-Time/Full-Time.
Jamie Vardy did return at the weekend, but Islam Slimani could be a safer bet at 3/1 to net first.
Mansfield Town v Cardiff City
There could be an upset in Nottinghamshire. Hosts Mansfield are going great guns in League Two, while Championship promotion-chasers Cardiff have lost their way.
Town have lost only one of their last 19 league and FA Cup matches, while the Bluebirds have failed to win five of their last six.
Cardiff’s priority is unquestionably gaining promotion to the Premier League, which leaves the door open for League Two Mansfield to win at a tidy 27/10.
And there’s one other piece of inspiration for Steve Evans’ underdogs – if they win they’ll host Manchester City in the next round.
Sheffield Wednesday v Carlisle United
This isn’t a replay either side would have wanted.
Sheffield Wednesday need to find themselves some league form as soon as possible, while Carlisle would probably prefer to focus their attention on bagging a play-off spot in League Two.
The winner will get to host Reading or Stevenage in the next round, so there’s a good chance of a cup run for one of these two.
West Ham United v Shrewsbury Town
Another replay that both sides could have done without. The Shrewsbury Town fans will enjoy their trip to the capital, but both Salop and West Ham have more pressing concerns.
David Moyes’ men are on a high though following their excellent 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town and should have plenty in hand to see this through.
Paul Hurst’s Shrews will be focusing on their League One promotion push, while a fourth-round trip to either Bournemouth or Wigan Athletic holds little appeal.
Reading v Stevenage
Reading could use this game to find some much-needed momentum. Jaap Stam’s Royals are winless in their last eight games – and could yet slip into the Championship’s bottom three.
But League Two Stevenage might give this a good go. They’re safely in mid-table and have a history of producing upsets.
