Arsenal and Man Utd could swap Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Our traders believe a deal taking Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way, could happen this month.

United are challenging Manchester City for Sanchez’s signature. The Red Devils are 15/8 to get him during the January transfer window.

Arsenal could be more open to doing a deal with United if they can bring Mkhitaryan to the Emirates. The midfielder is 5/1 to join the Gunners this month.

Mkhitaryan has struggled for gametime recently. But his style may be a better fit for Arsenal’s attacking play than Jose Mourinho’s tactics.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Wenger may have to accept he’s going to lose his main man this month, but the French boss looks set to take the Mkhi out of Manchester.”
