The Championship promotion race hots up this evening as Sheffield United host Bristol City at Bramall Lane.

Victory for either side will move them to within three points of Cardiff City in second place.

On recent form, the away side will prove a tough nut to crack for the hosts.

Lee Johnson’s Robins have won their last two games and are unbeaten away from home since mid-August.

United, on the other hand, are three games without a win, their worst run since January.

The Blades haven’t gone four games without victory since August 2016.

Despite that contrast in form, it’s the hosts that are the favourites at 23/20. The visitors are priced at 9/4, with the draw 12/5.

While City can point to the better recent form, United have got the league’s top goalscorer.

Leon Clarke has bagged 13 goals already this season, including nine in his last five games.

He’s 7/2 to open the scoring in this match, although we think it could be worth taking on the 32-year-old to bag a brace in the contest.

Clarke has scored two or more goals in four matches so far this season and is 6/1 to do so once again here.

Bristol City will be relying on 10-goal marksman Bobby Reid to get on the scoresheet at odds of 8/5 in the Anytime market.

With both teams so prolific in front of goal, we also think it’s likely that Both Teams to Score will land at 4/6.

But why not double up on that market? Sheffield United and Both Teams to Score comes in at 3/1.

That attacking verve should see one of our #GetAPrice requests land, too.

It’s 4/1 for Both Teams to Score – Yes, Over 10.5 Corners and Over 35.5 Booking Points.

Whatever the result, it’s sure to be an exciting end-to-end match under the lights at Bramall Lane.
