The weekend is here and the manic dash to get that Christmas shopping done takes a back stage for the weekend footy.

The weather looks like it should behave itself, so there shouldn’t be any interruptions to the Saturday accas.

The Ladbrokes News crew bring you their latest five-fold, compiled by a thorough studying of the everything we know about the game.

Here’s who we fancy…

Richard Marsh

Watford to beat Huddersfield

Backing the Hornets is a fraught with peril this season, but I’m sticking with it.

They’re much better than recent results would suggest, and a home game versus a struggling Huddersfield is ideal.

The Yorkshire side have lost five of their last six. They can’t score, and they’re conceding heavily too.  A home win looks excellent at 3/4.

Cian Carroll

Bolton Wanderers to beat Burton Albion

It’s a basement battle at the Macron Stadium as Bolton host bottom-of-the-table Burton.

Phil Parkinson’s Bolton have been in good form at home in recent months. Wanderers are unbeaten in their last five at home, winning three and drawing the other two.

Burton have been in brutal form this term. And over the last 10 Championship matches, Albion are bottom of the form table. It has to be Bolton to win at a generous 19/20.

Dave Burin

Exeter City to beat Stevenage

The Grecians sit just a point outside the automatic promotion spots in League Two.

That’s largely been thanks to a home record which has seen them win seven of 10 at St James’ Park – including each of the last two.

As for Stevenage, they’ve picked up a dismal two points from their last seven league outings, scoring a single goal in the previous four. Exeter look good value to win at 20/23.

Dan Anwar

Burnley to beat Brighton & Hove Albion

Goal difference is the only thing keeping Burnley out of the top four. And with six wins from their last eight league games, the smart money is on a 21/10 away win at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton are without a win in six league games. Expect that run to continue against the in-form Clarets.

Nick Murphy

Leeds United to beat Norwich City

Leeds are back in the groove. They’ve won three of their last five matches, including a 3-1 success against Queens Park Rangers last weekend.

Visitors Norwich have lost their last three on the road and won’t be able live with the the home side’s firepower at Elland Road. The Whites are value at 6/5.

So there we go. This weekend’s five-fold is available at 45/1!
