Football Acca tips: Watford, Blackburn & Bradford head up 55/1 shot

Published:

We’re a fortnight away from Christmas and that annual feast of festive footy, but before that there’s a busy and traditional Saturday afternoon to enjoy.

There’s a chunky list of fixtures from the Premier League right the way through the Championship and League One through to League Two.

The Ladbrokes News crew are back with another acca, and we’re feeling increasingly confident of bringing it home.

Here’s who we’re backing this Saturday…

Richard Marsh

Derby County to beat Barnsley

Derby are going nicely in sixth, while Barnsley are sliding in the wrong direction.

Gary Rowett’s Rams have won three of their last four, while their Yorkshire hosts have lost all of their last four fixtures.

Barnsley have failed to score in three of those, and with Derby losing just twice on the road this term, an away win looks good at 6/5.

Cian Carroll

Watford to beat Burnley

This looks a tight game to call but Watford look great value here at 19/10. Marco Silva’s side will attack Burnley from the off and tend to be very dangerous, especially away from home.

Burnley have lost key player Robbie Brady to a serious injury.

Brady provides a lot of assists and his absence will be a blow to the Clarets. We’re siding with the Hornets.

Dave Burin

Blackburn Rovers to beat Peterborough United

The Lancashire club are flying high in League One. They’ve won four successive league games, netting 13 times in the process.

Tony Mowbray’s men head to the ABAX Stadium to face a Posh side struggling for form.

The hosts have lost 6 of their last 11 matches in the third tier. So Blackburn to Win looks good at 6/5.

Dan Anwar

Crystal Palace to beat Bournemouth

Palace have looked much better since Roy Hodgson came in. They’ve moved off the bottom and have only lost one of their last six games.

Now they need to start putting some wins together.

A home game against Bournemouth could be an ideal opportunity. The Eagles are evens to get a crucial victory.

 Nick Murphy

Bradford City to beat Rochdale

Rochdale have the second worst away record in League One.

The Spotland side haven’t won in 10 league away games so far this season.

While Bradford’s home form is far from perfect, they should have enough quality to make it three wins from four on Saturday at 19/20.

So there we go. This weekend’s five-fold is available at 55/1!
