Hibernian v Rangers: Gers to produce another top away-day display
Aberdeen’s recent dip in form has allowed Rangers to grasp second spot in the Ladbrokes Premiership. Graeme Murty’s men have won three on the trot, and now sit just five points behind Celtic.
A terrific away record has underpinned the Gers recent success, and they look good value for another three points away at Hibernian on Wednesday night.
The Ibrox club have scored the most goals per game of any Premiership side away from home. To date, they’ve chalked up 20 in eight matches (2.5 per game), winning six times. Their last away game produced an impressive 2-1 victory at Pittodrie.
Hibs have been wobbly at home, losing three of eight. That means Rangers to Win looks the best call in the Match Betting at 29/20. Neil Lennon’s men are 9/5 to take the points, with 23/10 about the Draw.
One thing we’re all-but-guaranteed is a glut of goals. Each of the last four meetings have produced five or more. Over 2.5 Goals looks like good at 2/1, while Over 4.5 could be well worth a flutter at 19/4.
With the signs pointing to maximum points for the Glasgow giants, Rangers to Win and Both Teams to Score at 7/2 could be a smart call.
The Gers’ have flown out the blocks in recent weeks. Murty’s men have led by the quarter-hour mark in two of their last three outings.
As for the Cabbage, they’ve trailed at that point on five occasions this season. Result After 15 Minutes: Rangers looks appealing at 6/1.

Simon Murray has been Hibs’ chief goal-getter this term. He’s 21/10 to add to his tally of 14 in all competitions.
For the visitors, defender Danny Wilson is looking to score for the third game on the trot. He’s an appealing 10/1 in the Anytime Goalscorer market.
