Everton ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race for Aubameyang

Everton have an outside chance of landing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to our odds.

Sam Allardyce is reportedly ready to hand over £60m for the Borussia Dortmund striker’s services.

And we reckon that a move could actually happen.

Real Madrid remain the 6/4 favourites to acquire the 28-year-old’s services, with Everton considered his most likely Premier League destination at 5/1.

The Toffees have leapfrogged both Chelsea (11/2) and Liverpool (7/1) in the race for Gabon international’s signature.

Aubameyang is said to be available for transfer following a series of apparent bust-ups with Dortmund coaching staff.

With 19 goals in 21 appearances so far this season, his signature would go a long way to solving the Toffees’ forward problems.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Big Sam is taking full advantage of being at a club with plenty in the bank, and at 5/1, we’re not going to rule out a mega move for Aubameyang.”
