England get Belgium, Tunisia & Panama in World Cup draw

Gareth Southgate - England

England will play Belgium, Tunisia, and Panama in next summer’s 2018 World Cup draw in Russia.

Gareth Southgate’s men, drawn into Group G, will play the Tunisians first on June 18 in Volgograd.

They then meet World Cup debutants Panama in Novgorod on June 24, before a potential showdown with Belgium in Kaliningrad on June 28.

Meanwhile hosts Russia will open the tournament by facing Saudi Arabia in Group A.

Egypt and Uruguay make up the rest of the first group.

There’s plenty of intrigue in Group B where Portugal and Spain will meet.

Those pair will face each other first, before meeting Morocco and Iran.

France will be fancying their chances, after been drawn in  Group C alongside Australia, Peru and Denmark.

Group D sees Argentina and Lionel Messi play Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria.

Five-time world champions Brazil will be confident too. Neymar and co will play Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.

Germany are in Group F alongside Mexico, Sweden and South Korea.

And finally Group H could be one of the most open of them all. Poland, Colombia, Senegal and Japan will all be competing in that one.
