Wednesday’s Premier League Bets: Chelsea and Liverpool involved

There are six Premier League games on the cards on Wednesday night.
Chelsea look to continue their good form against relegation-threatened Swansea City. Meanwhile, fellow top-six sides Liverpool, Arsenal and table-topping Manchester City are also in action.
We’ll be bringing you an extended preview of Everton v West Ham United ahead of that game.
And in addition, here are our tips for Wednesday night’s other five Prem crackers…
Chelsea v Swansea City
The Blues have hammered more than a few opposing sides this season, scoring four or more goals in six different games since the beginning of September.
As for Swansea, they’re no strangers to getting tonked in this fixture. They were beaten 5-0 by the Blues back in 2015, and the visitors’ dismal recent form also points towards a long night at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea -2 looks a good bet at 29/20.
Goals are definitely on the agenda. Five of the last six meetings have seen the net bulge four or more times. 7/5 looks generous for Over 3.5 Goals.
Arsenal v Huddersfield Town
David Wagner’s Terriers have been strong on their own patch, but struggled on the road. The West Yorkshire club haven’t scored in any of their last six away games in all competitions, losing five of those.
Arsenal to Win to Nil at the Emirates looks good at 17/20.
In the Goalscorer markets, we like the look of Aaron Ramsey to Score Anytime. He’s netted in two of his previous five outings, and is 19/10 to find the net.
Stoke City v Liverpool
The Reds head to the Potteries having won eight of their last 10 meetings against Stoke. Jurgen Klopp’s men have tended to come on strong after the interval.
They’ve won the second half in each of the last three meetings, so Second Half Result: Liverpool could prove popular at 4/5.
Chances are you’ll see Mohamed Salah on the scoresheet. The Egyptian has scored nine times in eight games, breaking the deadlock in four of them. He’s 7/2 to be First Goalscorer in Staffordshire.
Man City v Southampton
If anyone can stop Pep Guardiola’s relentless winning machine, it’s probably not Saints.
However, the visitors have been decent in front of goal – especially in the second period. Southampton have scored seven times after the interval in as many games, while City have registered after the break in six matches on the trot. Both Teams to Score in Second Half is 5/2.
One man who looks well priced to find the net is Shane Long. Despite struggling so far this term, he has scored against City on four prior occasions, and is 16/5 to end his goal drought at the Etihad.
AFC Bournemouth v Burnley
Sorry, Cherries and Clarets’ fans – we’re not expecting too much from this one.
Only one of Burnley’s last eight games has produced more than two goals. And three of Bournemouth’s previous four have ended with 0-0 or 1-0 scorelines. Under 2.5 Goals looks a sure thing at 4/6.
While Sean Dyche’s men had a strong home record in 2016-17, it’s been all about their away form this time around. Having already won away at Southampton, Everton, and Chelsea, Burnley look good value at 3/1 to take maximum points on this trip.
