It’s the National League v League One tonight as Tranmere Rovers welcome Peterborough United to Prenton Park in an FA Cup 1st round replay.

The initial tie between the two sides finished all-square at the ABAX Stadium after Andy Cook cancelled out Jack Marriott’s 52nd minute opener.

But it’s the visitors who are expected to prevail tonight. Peterborough are 11/10 to win inside 90 minutes, with the hosts a tasty 23/10. You can get the draw at 12/5.

While Posh are the higher ranked side, there’s certainly some value in siding with the hosts.

Rovers are unbeaten in four and have won their last two in the league, including an impressive victory over promotion chasing Dagenham & Redbridge at the weekend.

Their home record is also good. Micky Mellon’s men have won four of their last six at Prenton Park.

Peterborough, on the other hand, have only won once on the road since August, and even that was in the Checkatrade Trophy away at Cambridge.

We’re expecting a tight game up on Merseyside, and that makes Under 2.5 Goals more than appealing at even-money.

That said, we do think it’s likely that both sides will find the back of the net at 4/6.

Cook and Marriott are both prolific marksmen for their respective clubs, while the visitors’ Marcus Maddison has chipped in with a further five goals in the league this season.

You can get 6/5 on Marriott scoring at anytime during the contest, while Cook is available at 9/5.

But what about the scoreline?

Well, we think that a repeat of the first meeting between the pair could be on the cards. It’s 11/2 for it to end up even at 1-1.
