Odds slashed on Marco Silva taking over at Everton

Everton’s approach for Marco Silva has seen the Watford boss’ odds on taking over at Goodison Park tumble.
Silva is now just 6/4 to become the next Everton manager. He had drifted to 10/1 last week, but the Merseysiders have now made their interest clear.
Watford have rejected Everton’s first approach for their highly-rated manager. Will the Toffees return with an improved offer? Silva is now second-favourite for the job.
Caretaker manager David Unsworth is still 5/4 favourite to take the role full-time, though his odds have fallen from 4/9.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “This once looked like a case of right man, wrong time – but increased interest in Silva over the weekend has forced our traders to spring into action and make the Watford boss a frontrunner for the position once again.”
