Odds chopped on Chelsea boss Conte to be next Prem manager to go

| 01.11.2017

Our traders have slashed the odds on Antonio Conte being the next Premier League manager to leave his post, following Tuesday night’s Champions League thrashing away at Roma.

Having been a 20/1 shot in the Sack Race prior to kick-off, the Italian boss has since seen his odds tumble to just 7/1.

That makes Conte him third-favourite in the market, behind Everton-linked Sean Dyche (1/2) and West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic (5/2) respectively.

And the bookies have also trimmed odds of Conte leaving at any stage this season to just 7/4, while 16/1 says he’s in charge of the Blues for just one more game – against Man United this weekend.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Something isn’t quite working at Chelsea this year and the latest odds are strongly suggesting Conte will pay the price in the near future.”
