Gareth Bale appears to be edging towards the exit door at Real Madrid and our traders have Manchester United leading the way for his signature.

Bale has been out of action since late September with a calf injury. Now he’s now picked up a thigh problem that could rule him out for the rest of 2017.

The Wales international has now missed 40 of Madrid’s last 60 games and he’s 6/5 to move on at the end of the season.

If he does leave, United are clear favourites to sign him at 2/1.

Paris Saint-Germain (9/1), Manchester City (14/1) and his former club Tottenham Hotspur (14/1) are other potential destinations.

Bale has helped Madrid to win three Champions League titles and La Liga during his time at the club.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Bale has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu for some time and it’s now looking likely he’ll be back in the Premier League in a United shirt next season.”
