Football Acca Tips: Our 75/1 five-fold features Watford, Fulham and Wigan
Published:Christmas is on the way, but before December rolls there’s one final weekend of footy to enjoy this November.
It’s full steam ahead up and down the land. Teams in the Championship, League One and League Two are all looking to build on or avenge results in midweek.
The opposite applies in the Premier League, where this weekend’s games can be followed up or ruined with games on Tuesday and Wednesday coming.
So there’s plenty to play for. As ever, each member of the Ladbrokes News crew have cast their eyes over the Saturday 15:00 games across England’s top four divisions.
Here’s who we fancy this week…
Richard Marsh
Bournemouth to beat Swansea City
Bournemouth were superb in their 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.
The Cherries are firmly on the up after a difficult start to the season, while the opposite can be said for hosts Swansea City.
Paul Clement’s men have lost their last four games. They’re the second-lowest scorers in the top tier too.
Bournemouth have no shortage of options up front, and they’re well-priced at 17/10 to bag a third win on the spin.
Cian Carroll
Fulham to beat Millwall
Fulham haven’t won at Craven Cottage in the league since September 13. But the remarkable 5-4 win over Sheffield United in midweek will have sent confidence levels through the roof.
Slaviska Jokanovic’s precocious young side have had a topsy-turvy start to the season but could take off now.
Particularly as they welcome a struggling Millwall to West London. Odds of 5/6 are too good to turn down.
Dave Burin
Wigan to beat Rotherham
The Millers are bang out of form at present. Winless in five league games, they’ve lost their last two at home – including defeat to relegation-threatened Gillingham.
They host a Wigan side in fine fettle. The Latics sit in the automatic promotion spots and have won five of their eight on the road. Victory for Paul Cook’s men looks good at 21/20.
Dan Anwar
Watford to beat Newcastle United
Watford have won each of their last three games against Newcastle United. They could be a very good shout at 12/5 to extend that run to four victories.
The Hornets are the league’s top scorers outside the top six. They could find some joy against a Newcastle team that’s only won once in seven games.
Nick Murphy
Notts County to beat Colchester United
County provided us with a winner last weekend so we’re sticking with them again at 11/10 against Colchester.
Put simply, the Magpies are sensational at home. They’ve dropped just four points at home so far this season and have won their last three matches at Meadow Lane in league competition.
So, there we go. Our five-fold acca comes in at a juicy 75/1!
If you fancy it, you can back it right here.
