Ladbrokes’ Dan Skelton runs through his runners this weekend

We run Hear No Evil in the 12.30 at Aintree on Saturday. He’s a great big horse by Getaway.

He ran nicely in two bumpers last season and he just needed plenty of time, but he is jumping nicely and we do like him.

He’s only a horse who is just getting the hang of it and whilst I think he’s got a chance, he will also improve for hurdle runs.

Captain Chaos runs in the 13.05 at Aintree. He came second in a Grade Two and in France in quite a nice hurdle. However, he just ran a bit of a lacklustre race at Chepstow last time.

We’re going to put a pair of blinkers on and see how we get on with those.

Historically he brings some good form into this race and if you put everything together he would be a major player but that lacklustre run last time means we just have to try something different.

Virgilio is a fantastic horse, who loves it around Aintree. He will run in the 14.15 Handicap Chase.  The only thing with two and a half miles is that it would be his starter trip.

Three miles would be probably better but he loves it here. He won at Aintree in May. He is definitely a player as he is just so consistent.

We have Value at Risk in the 14.50 at Aintree. Again he historically brings some good form into the race but obviously he has to take on two extremely highly-rated horses.

We just wanted to find a nice race to get him started. There’s not going to be many runners so we will let him start his season and make a plan from there.

Workbench is going to run in the 15.25 at Aintree. We’re going to put the cheek pieces back on him.

We think he’s just being a little bit clever. The form of his last two races have worked out really well.

He can win again on Saturday if he puts it all in. If it’s a bit too competitive going to three out, it’s a little bit on his terms to be honest.

On Sunday, I will run Captain Simon and Resiliency in the same race; the 13.50 at Sandown.

To be honest, Resiliency is very frustrating.

He’s an ex highly-rated flat horse so it’s got to happen for him at some point. He just needs more experience and to get the hang of it.

He was better last time for sure.

Captain Simon ran the same day as Captain Chaos last time and again was a little bit lacklustre. He didn’t show what he showed at home.

He won an English point-to-point bumper but I think he’s a horse who wants a bit of time and a bit further as well. I want to see him finish this race well on Sunday.

Atlantic Storm runs in the 14.55 at Sandown. It will be his last run over hurdles before going chasing. He’s a great big horse and would want the ground nice.

He’s got some nice form from last year without being outstanding. He’s not the obvious winner of the race but I’d say he has a chance.

That’sthescoop runs at Sandown in the 16.00. He’s a nice horse who goes well at home.

He can be a little keen though like West To The Bridge was at Chepstow during the week when he finished second in a nice bumper.

He’ll need dropping in and settling and if he does that, he can run well.
