Jennie McAlpine now outright favourite to win I’m A Celeb

Jennie McAlpine is now the clear favourite to win I’m A Celebrity, following a cut in her odds. A flurry of bets for the 33-year-old saw our traders trim her odds from 5/1 into 3/1.

YouTube sensation Jack Maynard has also seen his odds shorten up in light of a run of bets. He’s now joint-second favourite at 5/1 alongside Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas.

That pair are followed by a pair of 8/1 shots, in the form of Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo and Stanley Johnson – father of Foreign Secretary Boris.

However, the other five competitors are all in double digits as far as the odds are concerned.

In particular, there seems little hope for Amir Khan, Rebekah Vardy or Vanessa White, with the trio rank outsiders at 16/1 apiece. However, if one of them does upset the odds, backers will surely be feeling flush.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Punters are fizzing about Jennie being in the jungle, and we’ve been left with little option but to take the scissors to her odds as bets pour in on her chances of glory.”
