I’m a Celeb: Jennie McAlpine tipped to rule the jungle

With the new series of I’m a Celebrity only days away, Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has emerged as joint-favourite to finish as winner.

McAlpine, better known as Corrie’s Fiz, has been very popular with punters and she’s now just 4/1.

There could be a soap star showdown as Holloyoaks’ Jamie Lomas is also 4/1 joint-favourite.

YouTuber Jack Maynard is third-placed at 6/1, while Stanley Johnson, Shappi Khorsandi and Georgia Toffolo are all 8/1.

Amir Khan is unlikely to go the distance. The boxer is down at 16/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Jungle Jennie’s been a hit with punters, and there’s clearly confidence in her ability to bring some fizz into the camp.”
