Fenerbahce keeping tabs on West Ham United’s Marko Arnautovic

He only joined West Ham United in May but Marko Arnautovic could soon be on the move.

The Hammers’ record buy is said to be attracting the interesting of Fenerbahce.

It comes following reports in Turkey that the agent of Austrian international has been invited to Istanbul for talks regarding a possible loan move in January.

Arnautovic moved to the London Stadium from Stoke City in the summer for a fee of around £25m.

However, since the move, the winger has come in for criticism following a string of underwhelming performances.

In the Premier League so far this season Arnautovic has failed to register a single goal or assist.

The 28-year-old has also been accused of not working hard enough by new Irons boss David Moyes and now it appears the Scotsman could offload the 6ft 3in ace in January.

If the ex-Werder Bremen star does jump ship from East London, then a move to Istanbul with Fenerbahce appears the most likely option.

The Yellow Canaries are regular buyers from England’s top division and already have Robin van Persie, Vincent Janssen and Martin Skrtel amongst their ranks.

A move for Arnautovic appears unlikely at the moment.

But if the winger’s form does not improve in the near future, the Hammers hierarchy could be tempted to cut their losses on the £25m man.
