Diego Simeone 33/1 for Everton job; Sam Allardyce remains favourite

Diego Simeone has been singled out by Farhad Moshiri to become the next manager of Everton.
Unfortunately for the Toffees’ chairman, our traders don’t have the same optimism as the Blues owner, and have priced the Atletico Madrid manager at 33/1 for the vacancy at Goodison Park.
According to our odds, Sam Allardyce remains the most likely candidate to replace Ronald Koeman.
Big Sam is now as short as 1/5 to take the reins on Merseyside after heavy speculation linking him to the job.
That spells bad news for long-time favourite Sean Dyche, who is now considered a 5/1 chance to join Everton from Burnley.
Further down the pecking order and Marco Silva comes in at 8/1, while caretaker boss David Unsworth is 10/1 after Sunday’s comeback win over Watford.
And with so much uncertainty surrounding Goodison Park, we’ve also priced up the Blues to be relegated this season at a tempting 8/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Punters reckon it’s a case of when, and not if Big Sam is unveiled as the new Everton gaffer. At this stage, it seems unlikely Simeone will be taking a flight from Madrid to Liverpool airport anytime soon.”
