Debbie McGee new favourite for Strictly ahead of Alexandra Burke

After Aston Merrygold’s shock exit from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night, there’s a new favourite for the Glitterball Trophy.

Step forward, Debbie McGee.

The former magician’s assistant is now just 7/4 to conjure a shock Strictly victory after scoring a series-best 40 points at the weekend.

Alongside partner Giovanni Pernice, Debbie has been causing quite a stir.

So much so that we’re offering 2/1 on the pair making their burgeoning relationship official!

Back on the dancefloor, however, and Alexandra Burke will be looking to break the 59-year-old’s heart.

Broken Heels singer Burke has been riding high since the start of the show and is now considered the 2/1 second-favourite following Aston’s axing last week.

We then have a jump to Gemma Atkinson and Joe McFadden, both of whom are priced at 7/1 to land the prize.

Davood Ghadami and Mollie King come next at 20/1, before Jonnie Peacock at 20/1, Susan Calman at 50/1 and Ruth Langsford at 66/1.

While Ruth may be long-odds to win, she is the favourite to be the next contestant to be voted off.

If you think there’ll be another huge shock like last week, it’s 20/1 for Joe to leave and 25/1 for Gemma to go next.
