Chester are anticipating their biggest crowd in over three years for Tuesday’s clash with Wrexham.

It will be the first cross-border derby with no safe travel restrictions since Chester’s reformation in 2010. And the Blues believe there could be over 4,000 fans at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

There’s only 12 miles between the two clubs. But they’re separated by 19 places in the National League.

Marcus Bignot’s Chester side are down in 22nd. They’ve only won two of their eight games since his appointment.

But the crowd could make all the difference against high-flying Wrexham. The Dragons are third, three points off top spot.

Wrexham are 27/20 favourites to win away. Chester are 2/1 and the draw is also 2/1.

There could be value in backing the Draw and Both Teams to Score at 17/5. Both meetings between the two sides last season ended with a point apiece.

There have been at least two goals in three of the last four times they’ve played each other too. It’s 4/9 for Over 1.5 Goals here and 13/10 for Over 2.5 Goals.

Our traders have Wrexham duo Chris Holroyd and Ntumba Massanka both leading the way at 5/1 as First Goalscorer.

Chester’s best chance of a goal is likely to be Lucas Dawson. He’s 13/5 to score Anytime.
