Livingston manager David Hopkin has won the Ladbrokes Championship Manager of the Month award for September.

The 47-year-old guided Livi to three victories and a draw during the month. Those 10 points were the division’s best haul in the period, and included a couple of superb away victories.

Those wins were preceded by an entertaining 2-2 draw with Queen of the South at Tony Macaroni Arena. Dylan Mackin’s late equaliser again underlined Livi’s battling qualities, but better was to come.

Hopkin’s charges dominated in the Highlands with a 3-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle. That was followed up by an equally impressive 2-0 win in Falkirk, making Livi the first visitors to win to nil at Falkirk Stadium in 11 games.

The month was closed out with a 2-1 win over Dumbarton, with Craig Halkett’s winner making him the ninth Livi player to score in all competitions during September.

That stat sums up just how impressive the West Lothian club are throughout the side. Hopkin’s tactical nous, transfer business, and man management is continuing to take the Lions from strength to strength.

Next up for Livingston is the visit of Dundee United, with 6/4 on offer for Hopkin and co. to secure a fifth win in six league games.
