Ladbrokes News Acca: Our 28/1 punt features Stoke, Sheff Utd and Forest

Published:

The domestic action is in full flow this weekend, and with it comes another acca opportunity.

The Ladbrokes News crew have again carefully perused Saturday’s 15:00 schedule.

Each member of the team has chosen one W-D-W selection from the Premier League, down to League Two.

Here’s who we like the look of this weekend…

Rich Marsh

Sheffield United to beat Reading

With five wins from six games, nobody has a better home record in the Championship than Sheffield United. The Blades have beaten solid opposition in Ipswich and title-favourites Wolves at Brammall Lane.

That doesn’t offer much hope for Jaap Stam’s Reading, who are short on goals, points and confidence. United look a great shout at Evens for another three points on home soil.

Dave Burin

AFC Wimbledon to beat Plymouth

The Dons head into this weekend’s game on the back of successive victories, including an impressive 3-1 win over Rotherham United.

As for the visiting Pilgrims, they’re sitting rock bottom of League One, having taken just three points from their seven previous away trips.

Another win for Neal Ardley’s men is on the cards at 3/4.

Cian Carroll

Nottingham Forest to beat Burton Albion

Forest have had a difficult run of fixtures recently with games against Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Derby County and Fulham.

Their results suggest they’re in poor form but they’ve been unlucky.

Mark Warburton has the Reds playing some attractive stuff since he took over at the City Ground.

They welcome a struggling Burton side to the East Midlands and look a value bet at 3/4 to get three points on the board.

Daniel Anwar

Stoke City to beat Bournemouth

Stoke will be looking to bounce back from their 7-2 thrashing against Manchester City last weekend.

Bournemouth could be ideal opposition for the Potters, having failed to win a single point on the road so far this season.

Mark Hughes’ side have beaten Arsenal and held Manchester United to a draw at home this term. At 11/10, they should be too strong for a Cherries side low on confidence.

Nick Murphy

Stevenage to beat Forest Green Rovers

Forest Green may have picked up a surprise away win at Coventry in the week, but we’re not expecting them to get anything here.

Stevenage have been strong at home this season and are 10/11 to make it five home wins from eight on their own patch.

So, there we go. Our five-fold acca comes in at a tasty 28/1!

If you fancy it, you can back it right here.
