How Leicester can kick-start their season against West Brom

Leicester City have endured a difficult start to the season. Their 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion in the second week of the campaign remains their only league win so far.

Craig Shakespeare’s side have lost three and drawn two top-flight fixtures since. The Foxes currently sit 17th in the table.

They could be into the relegation zone by the time they host West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.

But this upcoming game gives Leicester a real chance to get three much-needed points.

All four of Leicester’s losses this season have come on the road. They haven’t lostat the King Power Stadium to a team outside the big six since last December.

West Brom don’t look likely to end that streak. The Baggies made a good start to the season but have now gone six games without a win in all competitions.

With that in mind, Leicester are even-money to win.

Tony Pulis’ side will deny Leicester the room in behind to counter, but Riyad Mahrez and Mark Albrighton should get time and space on the flanks.

They’ll have a refreshed Jamie Vardy to try to pick out in the box. The forward was left out of the recent England squad to recover from a niggling hip injury.

Vardy is 10/3 as First Goalscorer.

There could be goals in this one too. West Brom have conceded at least twice in four of their last five outings. And there’ve been at least two goals in all but one of Leicester’s matches this season.

It looks like there’s value in Over 2.5 Goals at 23/20.
