Dan Skelton gives us the low down on his runners at Aintree today

After a couple of days at Cheltenham, Dan Skelton and his stable turn their attentions to Aintree this afternoon.

Over to you, Dan…

We have New Quay, who runs in the 12.40. He is a nice horse, and is only a four-year-old. I think he has a fair future ahead of him and he should improve for the run here mentally and physically.

Return Flight in the 14.25 has absolutely no weight at all and this trip on nice ground is exactly what he wants.

Three Musketeers is in the same race and I will run him as long as the ground is on the easier side of good. He lost his way a little last year and we’re now finding our way back.

There’s no doubting he’s got plenty of ability though.

In the Old Roan at 15:00, we run Oldgrangewood.

He obviously gets a little weight in this but I’d be hopeful he can be competitive.

You’ve got God’s Own, Tea For Two at the top of the weights and plenty of other top horses in the race so it will be a very competitive affair.

Dan
