News has emerged that Alan Potts will make Bryan Cooper his first-choice rider in Britain.
That’s seen the jockey’s odds of riding 2017 hero Sizing John in this year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup priced up at just 2/1. While the gelding’s usual rider Robbie Power will still ride Sizing John in Ireland, it’s Cooper who’ll get the leg up when the star chaser runs in Britain.
