Can anything stop Grace Davies as she marches towards X Factor crown?

She’s been the favourite from week one and after the opening live show of the series, it appears that nothing can stop Grace Davies as she marches towards X Factor glory.

The 20-year-old has been the favourite to win the show from the off and is now just 6/4 to go all the way in this year’s competition.

Trying to stop her will be boyband Rak-Su, who have come into 7/2 second-favourites after their rendition of original song Mamacita at the weekend.

It’ll be no mean feat for the four-piece boyband if they do overhaul Davies to win the show.

That’s because on Saturday Ladbrokes took double the amount of bets on the 20-year-old winning as they had any other act.

And that makes the task for Holly Tandy (6/1) and the Cutkelvins (8/1) all the more difficult.

It’s not any easier for Lloyd Macey and brothers Sean & Conor Price, with both acts considered as 16/1 shots.

Meanwhile, singer Rae-Elle Williams received praise from One Direction star Liam Payne and is a 20/1 chance for victory.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The switch to live shows has done very little to the outright market at this early stage – although Grace’s odds of winning have taken yet another trim. It looks like the other contestants will be playing catch-up for much of the series.”
