Liverpool betting news

Three Premier League giants continue their Champions League adventures on Tuesday night.

Manchester City host Napoli, while Tottenham Hotspur face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, and Liverpool make the journey to Slovenia to take on NK Maribor.

Here are our betting tips for Tuesday night’s ties, beginning with the Reds’ trip to Stadion Ljudski vrt…

NK Maribor v Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s men are unbeaten in three successive away games, and they have Philippe Coutinho to thank for that record. The 25-year-old helped secure a point by scoring in each of those outings.

As well as netting to secure draws at Newcastle United and Spartak Moscow respectively, the Brazilian also gave the Reds a vital lead in last month’s 3-2 victory against Leicester City. That means we like Coutinho to Score Anytime at 23/20.

The UCL Group Stage is generally a bridge too far for Maribor. They’ve failed to win or keep a clean sheet in their last eight group games, and lost 3-0 at Sevilla last time out.

With the Merseyside outfit very strong when they click into gear, the Liverpool -2 handicap could prove a savvy bet at 27/20. Meanwhile, there’s 6/5 on offer for Liverpool to Win Both Halves.

Man City v Napoli

The word ‘unstoppable’ gets thrown around a lot in football, but Manchester City’s frontline are exactly that right now. Their current run of nine wins on the trot have seen Pep Guardiola’s men net an astonishing 34 goals in the process.

Napoli are also no slouches going forward, and have scored in every one of their games since the end of February. Two of their last three away games have produced five or more goals, so Over 4.5 Goals at 15/8 could be a good call in this fixture.

With the Citizens a relentless winning machine at present, we also like the look of Man City to Win and Over 3.5 Goals at 17/10.

However, the best bet could lie with Both Teams to Score in 1st Half at odds of 23/10.

Real Madrid v Tottenham

Spurs head to the Bernabeu in fine form, with six wins and a draw in their last seven games. Along the way, they’ve seen off the likes of Everton and Borussia Dortmund in very convincing fashion.

Los Blancos have not been their usual selves of late. They’ve won just two of the last five, losing at home to Real Betis in the process. That means Double Chance: Tottenham or Draw looks generously-priced at odds of 9/5.

No defence in world football wants to face Harry Kane right now. He’s scored 11 times in nine games for Tottenham, scoring a brace or hat-trick on five occasions.

Kane to Score Anytime is available at 13/10, but it’s the 6/1 for the 24-year-old to Score 2 or More Goals which looks like the best value.

However, if you’re looking for a banker, Both Teams to Score looks to be just that at 8/13.
