Harry Kane is the man most likely man to break Wayne Rooney’s England goalscoring record, according to our odds.

At 24-years-old Kane already has 10 goals from 21 games for the national side.

And that makes the 7/1 on him to score the 44 goals required to break the record even more enticing.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford’s goal against Slovakia was his second for England. It’s 16/1 the 19-year-old breaks Rooney’s record.

Further down the field Dominic Solanke is a value shout at 40/1.

The Liverpool striker is yet to feature for the senior side but has scored hatfuls at youth level.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund youngsters Tammy Abraham and Jadon Sancho are 50/1 respectively.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It took decades for Sir Bobby Charlton’s international record to be broken, but we might not have to wait anywhere near as long if Kane continues to find the net for the Three Lions.”
