England v West Indies: Hosts odds-on to continue pre-Ashes momentum

England are heavy favourites to win the fourth ODI with the West Indies.
Eoin Morgan’s men are 2-0 in the five-match series, following a convincing victory on Sunday in Bristol.
Moeen Ali hit England’s second-fastest ODI century, while Joe Root scored 84 as the hosts raced to a seven-wicket victory.
And they’re 1/5 with our traders to take victory at the Oval and seal the series with a game to spare.
The Windies are 7/2, but they have no chance unless they can contain England’s strength and depth with the bat.
Ali and Root’s efforts on Sunday were supported by a 73 from Ben Stokes, while Jonny Bairstow knocked in a superb century in the first ODI last week.
But Stokes and Alex Hales will be absent, following their removal from the squad after an incident in Bristol on Sunday night.
England should have plenty in hand however. Bairstow and Root are favourites to be the hosts’ top runscorers at 5/2.
Ali is 9/1 to repeat his feat.
As for the Tourists, they’ll need to hope Chris Gayle continues his personal vein of form.
The big-hitting 38-year-old walloped an excellent 94 of 78 balls on Sunday, and is 5/2 to top score for the Windies again.
Marlon Samuels has disappointed so far, but 5/1 says he turns it around in South London.
England are gaining important momentum before they head Down Under, and there’s little to suggest that they will be interrupted at the Oval.
