West Brom v Stoke: In-form Baggies to put Potters to the sword

Published:

West Bromwich Albion host Stoke City at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon looking to make it three league wins on the bounce.

Tony Pulis’ side have been on a superb run stretching back to the previous campaign in which they finished in a Premier League-best tenth place.

Having won their first couple of games this season against Bournemouth and Burnley, the Baggies are 13/10 to make it a trio of wins and that looks decent value to us.

Stoke are 9/4 to take the spoils but they’re hard to back when you consider their average away form.

They only won four times on the road last season and two of those wins came against relegated Sunderland and Hull City.

The Potters have also lost their last three games against Albion away so swerving Mark Hughes’ team is advisable.

Two of those games ended in 1-0 wins for WBA so it could be profitable to look at the home side winning to nil again at 5/2.

Jay Rodriguez got off the mark with a Carabao Cup goal in midweek against Accrington Stanley and should start in attack for the Baggies here.

The former Southampton forward has scored twice before against Stoke and we like him at 2/1 to bag anytime.
