It’s been a busy old summer for Premier League sides, and the 20 clubs have already spent more than £1bn during the transfer window.
That’s a staggering amount of money, but of the new acquisitions, who are we most excited to see?

Alvaro Morata – Chelsea
Make no bones about it, Antonio Conte wanted Romelu Lukaku to replace Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.
Costa’s physical, tormenting approach to opposition defences was a huge asset, and Lukaku boats similar attributes.
But Morata is not that kind of player. He’s remarkably talented, but he’s not a bruiser and his arrival will demand a seismic change of approach from the reigning champions. And that’s assuming the Spaniard takes to Premier League football…
Alexandre Lacazette – Arsenal
Arsenal have relied too heavily on Alexis Sanchez over the last few years, but that should change now they’ve spent a club record £52m on Alexandre Lacazette.
An out-and-out goalscorer who shouldn’t be overawed by the physicality of English football, the Frenchman looks like Arsenal’s ticket back into the top four.
Bernardo Silva – Manchester City
We could have picked a number of Manchester City’s signings, but it’s Bernardo Silva who gets our vote.
The winger shone for Monaco last season, and should thrive in Pep Guardiola’s marauding Citizens squad.
Vicente Iborra – Leicester City
Let down by last year’s summer arrivals, Leicester City have changed tack this term, and the initial signs look good.
None more so than Vicente Iborra, who has made the surprise move from Sevilla after several years with a side who frequently prevailed in European competition.
He’s a leader and an organiser, and that’s something Leicester sorely needed last term, so we’re expecting him to shine right from the off.
Davy Klaassen – Everton
We couldn’t leave out Everton, after the Toffees’ biggest summer splurge in their history.
There was an array of young creative midfielders making headlines in Europe last year, and Davy Klaassen was at the forefront of them.
Ajax captain at just 22-years-old, Klaassen is one of the Netherlands’ brightest talents, and should flourish under his compatriot Ronald Koeman in the coming years.
