Summer transfer round-up: Mata, Giroud and Coutinho odds

The football world might still be ogling over Neymar’s eye-watering transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, but he’s not the only story in town.

Far from it, in fact.

Philippe Coutinho’s odds of moving to Barca have actually drifted in recent days, from Evens to 11/8.

But while that’s some relief to Liverpool fans, Manchester United supporters will be somewhat concerned over the 2/1 on offer for Old Trafford favourite Juan Mata to join Roma.

Could the Red Devils’ pursuit of Ivan Perisic spell the end for the Spaniard?

Meanwhile, Diego Costa is 1/10 to leave Chelsea, but it remains to be seen where exactly he goes, thanks to Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban.

Arsenal could yet cash in on Olivier Giroud, with Everton the 10/11 favourites to acquire the Frenchman.

But the Gunners could make up for that with Juventus’ Juan Cuadrado, who is 2/1 to join Arsene Wenger’s side this summer.

Over in East London, West Ham could lose Manuel Lanzini, with Liverpool ominously priced at 7/4 for the talented forward.

Jurgen Klopp looks set to say goodbye for Alberto Moreno though, with Watford leading the charge for the left-back at 6/4.

And Tottenham, yet to make any signings this summer, might be about to do so with Genoa’s Giovanni Simeone hotly tipped to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side. We’re 3/1 a deal is done this summer.
