Newcastle 7/2 or shorter to sign THREE Arsenal aces this summer

Newcastle United’s Premier League campaign got off to a rocky start with Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. But salvation could come from Spurs’ North London rivals, with the Magpies 7/2 or shorter to sign a trio of Arsenal aces.

Kieran Gibbs is 5/4 to exit for St James’ Park this summer, with the left-back likely to finally say goodbye to the Emirates after almost 10 years and 229 outings for the Gunners.

However, the biggest mover in this market is Jack Wilshere.

The midfield terrier – who spent last season on loan at AFC Bournemouth – has seen his odds of a move to Tyneside slashed from 12/1 to just 3/1 in the past 24 hours, with the Stevenage native keen to secure first time football…and a possible return to the England fold.

Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez might not be willing or able to stump up the hefty £20m Arsene Wenger wants for Lucas Perez, but our traders think he could well join the Magpies on loan this summer.

There’s 7/2 on offer for the Spanish striker to head to SJP before the window closes, while optimistic members of the Toon Army can back their club to secure the services of all three of the talented trio at 20/1.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Newcastle look set to get their hands on at least one Arsenal star this summer, though if Rafa gets his way this trio could soon be sat together on a one-way train to Tyneside.”

Next up for the Magpies is a trip to Huddersfield Town next Sunday, with 2/1 for a Newcastle win.
