Man City lead rivals Man United in three-way race for Brugge ace

It was Manchester United who had first been linked with his signature in this summer’s transfer window, but it’s our traders who make Manchester City favourites to sign Club Brugge prodigy Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis.
Despite only joining the Belgian club from Zorya Luhansk at the beginning of July, the Nigerian’s continued impressive displays mean the Citizens could look to swoop before this window closes – though they may look to do a deal in January instead.
As it stands, Pep Guardiola’s men are 3/1 to seal a deal for Dennis. With the prolific hitman having managed five goals in his past six games, their pursuit for the Blauw-Zwart ace could intensify if he continues this form.
However, they could face stiff competition from their local rivals, with the Red Devils 4/1 to get their hands on the teenager, who impressed against United for Zorya in last season’s Europa League.
The third club keen on the 19-year-old are 5/1 shots Leicester City. The Foxes have already added Kelechi Iheanacho to their ranks this summer, but are keen to add his compatriot to their striking ranks.
We might not find out the answer in this transfer window, but right now it’s the Citizens who are in pole position to win the battle for Dennis’ signature.
