Liverpool v Arsenal: Free-scoring Reds to run riot at Anfield

Two top-six giants with suspect defences match-up this weekend, as Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield.

Both sides have enjoyed a mixed start to the season but it’s Liverpool that remain unbeaten in all-competitions ahead of this clash.

The Reds enjoyed a 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-off round in the week and are favourites to come out on top again here.

Against Arsenal’s shaky defence a slick Liverpool attack that is slowly moving through the gears should take full advantage at 11/10.

In the past the North Londoners used to enjoy trips to Anfield, but not anymore.

The Gunners haven’t won in their last four visits to this part of Merseyside and are 11/5 to correct that run. If you like the draw, we’ve got it available at 13/5.

What we are certain of however, is that there’s going to be goals.

These two are both equally dangerous going forward as they are haphazard at the back.

Liverpool have seen Both Team to Score land in three of their four fixtures so far and we think it’s a fair shout to suggest it will again at 1/2.

With those odds a little short though, we think it’s worth doubling up on Liverpool to Win and Both Teams to Score at 5/2.

Respective new signings Mohamed Salah and Alexandre Lacazette have both started the season well and are 17/10 and 19/10 to get on the scoresheet anytime here.

Alexis Sanchez is also back in the Gunners squad according to manager Arsene Wenger. He’s 11/5 to net on his return.

But if you like something really enticing then why not jump on Liverpool to Win and Over 3.5 Goals?

The Merseysiders have won their last two against the North Londoners 3-1 and 4-3 and we think that run is set to continue.

We’ve got it priced up at a more than favourable 15/4.
