Kilmarnock v Celtic: Rampant Hoops spell trouble for patchy Killie

Celtic v Kilmarnock odds

After three defeats in a row, Kilmarnock are already in choppy waters. That means Celtic should sail to an easy win at Rugby Park, on the back of Tuesday night’s 5-0 Champions League hammering of FC Astana.

That demolition of the Kazakh champions made it five wins on the spin for the Hoops, who have netted 16 goals during that time, conceding just once in the process.

Having notched up three points and a clean sheet on their last two visits to Rugby Park, it’s hard to look past Celtic to Win to Nil at odds of 4/5.

One man in red-hot form for the Glasgow giants is Scott Sinclair. The former Swansea City ace has registered five goals in his last seven games, grabbing a brace on two of those occasions.

He’s even-money to score anytime against Killie, though the 3/1 for Sinclair to score two or more looks to be the value bet.

Last time these two met – a 5-0 League Cup win for Celtic earlier this month – the Bhoys struck a 14th minute opener courtesy of Leigh Griffiths.

We like the 11/4 about Celtic leading at the 15-minute mark, while Brendan Rodgers’ men are 11/10 to be ahead after 30 minutes.

The Parkhead club have also led at the interval and gone on to win in their four previous games, so the Half-Time/Full-Time: Celtic/Celtic at 4/6 looks a veritable banker.

In the match betting, it’s no surprise to see the Hoops at 2/11 for victory, with 6/1 for the draw and Killie 18/1 to put a shock end to their opponents’ 46-game unbeaten domestic run.
