Lee McCulloch has already added nine new names to Kilmarnock’s ranks during this window, but now the Rugby Park boss looks set to bring home a fan favourite in the shape of Dundee United goalkeeper Cammy Bell.

The 30-year-old began his career with Killie, playing 131 times for the Ayrshire outfit, including a stellar display as the club lifted the League Cup in 2012 – their first major honour since 1997.

And the Tannadice stopper is now on course to re-join Kilmarnock after a four-year absence, with our trading team making it just 10/11 that Bell rejoins his boyhood club before the window closes.

That would be a huge boost for fans of McCulloch’s side. Not just because of the keeper’s popularity, but also because this is one area where they definitely need strengthening.

However, while Killie are firm favourites to snap Bell up, our odds-crunchers aren’t ruling out a return to another of his former clubs…Rangers.

The Gers are 5/1 to re-sign the stopper, and while they do have three senior keepers on their books, he could still prove a tempting proposition, with the former Scotland international notching up 15 clean sheets last term.

Kilmarnock host St Johnstone on Saturday, with 8/5 on offer for McCulloch’s men to enjoy victory. But will there be an old favourite between the posts come kick-off?
