Everton 4/1 to secure sensational swoop for Chelsea’s Diego Costa

Everton transfer news

It would be one of the most sensational deals in the history of the Premier League. But while it might seem unlikely on paper, our traders aren’t ruling out the possibility of Diego Costa swapping Chelsea for Everton.

While Conte wouldn’t be too keen to sell to a Premier League rival, the Chelsea boss could be forced into offloading the disruptive forward, and it’s just 4/1 for Costa to make Goodison Park his new home.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is angling to get the Blues striker on a loan deal, with relations between the Spain striker and boss Antonio Conte breaking down completely.

With Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban in force, that move is on hold for the time being, so the player has had to look elsewhere.

Having netted 20 times in the league last term, he’d undoubtedly be a fantastic acquisition for the Merseyside club – and a strike pairing of Wayne Rooney and Diego Costa would certainly pack a punch.

Next up for Everton is a visit to Manchester City on Monday night. There’s currently 10/1 about the visitors securing victory, though those odds could quickly tumble if a certain Mr. Costa arrives in the coming days.
