Chelsea prepare move for Valencia’s £25m rated right-back

Chelsea could be about to continue their summer spending spree by signing Valencia’s first choice right-back.
The Blues are rumoured to be interested in Joao Cancelo, who made 35 appearances for the Spanish side in La Liga last season.
Portuguese-born Cancelo also featured in the European Under-21 Championships this summer.
He completed the full 90 minutes in all three group games as Portugal limped out at the group stage on six points.
Chelsea are in the market for a right wing-back and the versatile Cancelo could fit the bill.
The 23-year-old is available for £25m – news to the ears of Blues manager Antonio Conte who has been tracking the ex-Benfica man for several months.
Our traders think the 5ft 11in defensive ace looks most likely to make the move to Stamford Bridge and have priced him up accordingly at 7/4.
However, London rivals Tottenham Hotspur could scupper the deal.
The North Londoners are without a recognised first choice right-back following the sale of Kyle Walker to Manchester City and Kieran Trippier’s injury in a friendly against Juventus last week.
With that in mind, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino could be forced to dip into the transfer market for the first time this summer.
We make last season’s runners-up at 2/1 shot to land the Valencia man.
Juventus are also in the running for Cancelo, but they’re firm outsiders at 4/1 to secure the Portuguese’s signature at this stage.
