Barcelona prepare £100m raid for Chelsea and Belgium star

With the impending sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain it’s fair to say Barcelona are somewhat flush with cash.
The Catalans have never been shy of spending a pretty penny and they look set to reinvest some of that £199m in a direct replacement for the departing Brazilian.
Barcelona’s stature coupled with their influx of cash means they have the pick of the world market.
And that spells trouble for Chelsea.
While Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho has been a long term target for the Spanish club, now it appears manager Ernesto Valverde could go after the Blues’ Eden Hazard.
Our traders have priced the Belgian ace up at a hugely enticing 6/1 to swap Stamford Bridge for the Nou Camp.
Although Hazard was settled in West London last season he has agitated for a move away in the past.
An offer in the £100m region accompanied by increased wages would be difficult for both parties to turn down.
Real Madrid though, could put a spanner in the works.
Los Blancos are long term admirers of the Chelsea ace and, if last season’s Champions League winners fancy him, the lure of the Bernabeu could prove difficult to turn down.

PSG may have swooped for Neymar already this week, but money is no object for the Qatari backed outfit who may want to add another jewel to an already heavily encrusted crown.
