Our punters are firmly of the opinion that Wayne Rooney’s return to Everton will see the 31-year-old make the cut in England’s World Cup 2018 squad. That’s backed up by the fact that the odds on Wazza making it to Russia next summer have come into even-money from 4/1.
The Three Lions’ record goalscorer hasn’t made the squad for any of the last five games under Gareth Southgate. But the bets have flooded in for the Toffees’ signing to make the plane.
