ITV Racing Tips: Caravaggio to steal the show on Super Saturday

We’ve got an absolutely packed day of racing to look forward to on Saturday with the culmination of the July Festival at Newmarket, as well as biggies from York and Ascot.
There are ten live races on ITV over the course of the afternoon. As ever, we’ll try and point you in the right direction with some winning tips.
We’re going deep on our NAP in the big one on Saturday, the Darley July Cup at Newmarket. This renewal looks an absolute sizzler with some of the best sprinters about set to go to post.
You could make a serious case for any of six horses out of the 20-strong field but we’re plumping our hard-earned cash on Aidan O’Brien’s Caravaggio.
The three-year-old clocked up a speed of 45mph recently, which is what we call proper horse power. Ryan Moore atop merely adds fuel to our fiery bet.
Plain and simple, we’re going with form in this bet. Roger Varian’s Barsanti has been sparkling of late with a second-place finish in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
Over his 13 races, the five-year-old has managed four wins in his last nine races so it’s clearly got the quality going into the John Smith´s Silver Cup Stakes.
We reckon it’s a fifth win and more money in our pocket, reflected by its relatively short odds.
With every Lively Longshot, sometimes it’s about going with your gut – and our gut is telling us that Julie Camacho’s Judicial is at odds we simply can’t bypass.
Arguably the form horse going into this renewal, the five-year-old gelding has been blazing a trail for a while now, and if he gets up a head of steam, he could take some stopping.
Eight wins from eighteen runs, we’re having a slice of this value pie.
