Novak Djokovic has seen his odds cut on a fourth Wimbledon success following his decisive victory in the Aegon International final at Eastbourne.

The Serbian is now 5/1 from 13/2  to win Wimbledon after beating Gael Monfils 6-3 6-4 to complete the perfect preparation for his tilt at more SW19 glory.

Landing the spoils in Sussex ensured Djokovic’s first title since January and marks a welcome upturn in form following an alarming dip in 2017.

It also proved to be a shrewd move by the 30-year-old and his team, given the fact that this was the first time since 2010 that the former world number one had played in a tournament in the week leading up to the grass court Grand Slam.

Swiss maestro Roger Federer remains the 2/1 favourite to win this year’s event with the rejuvenated Rafa Nadal next best at 9/2.

Djokovic is now just a shade behind the Spaniard in the betting with defending champion Andy Murray 6/1 to win back-to-back Wimbledon honours.

We’re into double figure odds from here on in though with Marin Cilic and Milos Raonic both 18s apiece.
