Aubameyang to Chelsea and Giroud to Dortmund? We’ve got the odds

We could be set for a striker merry-go-round in the coming weeks, according to the latest odds.

That’s because it looks increasingly likely that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be on his way to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund.

And that would leave BvB a little light up front, which is where Olivier Giroud comes in.

Aubameyang is readily available this summer, although a £60m asking fee has reportedly put some suitors off a move for the Ghana striker.

But after reports that Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjin have pulled out of the race, Chelsea are the new frontrunners.

Having lost out in the battle to sign Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, it’s now just 6/4 that the Blues turn to Aubameyang this summer.

A move to China remains an option at 4/1.

As for Giroud, Everton remain favourites to land the Arsenal striker, who is considering his future after the Gunners signed Alexandre Lacazette.

While it’s 6/4 the Frenchman moves to Goodison Park, it’s Dortmund who our traders have been focusing in on.

Well out of the running at 16/1 yesterday, the German outfit have been slashed into 2/1 to acquire the 30-year-old this summer.
