Wawrinka, Raonic and Murray in 3000/1 shock, who will be King of Queen’s?

Day two of the 2017 Aegon Championships at Queen’s Club threw up not one, not two, but three major shocks.
And unfortunately for the world number one, Andy Murray was included in that trio.
The Brit was defeated by world number 90 Jordan Thompson, a 10/1 shot who had only been called up at late notice due to injury to Aljaz Bedene.
That surprise on centre court followed Feliciano Lopez defeating Stan Wawrinka, and Thanasi Kokkanakis downing Milos Raonic.
Amazingly, that treble would have paid out at 197/1!
And as for all three underdogs winning in straight sets? Well that was 3000/1…
So, with the top three seeds all out in the first round, it’s time to ponder who will now go and win the traditional Wimbledon warm-up.
Grigor Dimitrov is the new favourite at 11/4.
The Bulgarian won this event in 2014, but has been battling injury and a loss of form since then.
However, victory in Brisbane in January was his first ATP win since that Queen’s success, and he followed that up with a run to the semi-finals at the Australian Open.
He took Nadal right to the limit in a five-set thriller Down Under, and the 26-year-old is certainly on the way back to that 2014 form.
Marin Cilic is next at 10/3.
The Croatian defeated big-serving John Isner in the opening round, and is seeking a second tournament win of the year.
Cilic goes well in West London too. He was the 2012 champion and was a set up in the final 12 months later, before Andy Murray turned it around.
And his life has been made easier by Murray’s exit, where the two had been due to meet in the last four.
Instead he is now on course to face third-favourite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
The 5/1 shot swept past Adrian Mannarino 6-2 6-2 in the first round, and is enjoying a solid year with three ATP titles.
